COCKTAILS AND A CAUSE
The Women’s Fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF) will be hosting a fundraising event for Craine House with their restaurant partner, Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery, on Wednesday, September 17 – 5:30 to 7:00 pm.  Location: 10 W. Washington Street, Indianapolis. The suggested donation is $20.00.

Each month, the Women’s Fund selects a charity dedicated to women’s issues and provides a “lasting impact for women and girls, today and always” as the beneficiary of this event. Please join this group for some fun and fundraising! For more information please visit: https://facebook.com/events/311345895706301 or phone CICF at (317)634-2423.

SAVE THE DATE: CRAINE HOUSE INFORMATIONAL BREAKFAST
On Thursday, November 13 Craine House will host an informational breakfast at the Montage Banquet Center located at 8580 Allison Pointe Blvd., Indianapolis (317-577-3663).  Time: 7:30 – 9:00 am.  This free breakfast (donations accepted) will tell you how this small agency is making a big difference in the lives of so many women and children in the State of Indiana.

Karen Hensel from WISH-TV will be our guest emcee and the program will tell how Craine House is helping our moms and children with their “Challenge for Change.”

Reservations are required, so please put this date on your calendar and let Craine House know if you are attending. We promise – it will be worth your time!

FUNdraiser – Date to be announced – Watch your e-newsletter!
Coming soon, Craine House will, once again, participate with the Max & Erma’s restaurants located in Carmel and Greenwood for a fundraiser to benefit Craine House. This event is called a FUNdraiser. Each guest, is invited by Craine House to enjoy lunch or dinner at Max & Erma’s, with 20% of their total check to be donated to Craine House.

So watch your e-newsletter as we announce another date soon for this FUN event to eat out and raise money for Craine House. Thanks to all those that participated in the past and we look forward to seeing you again!

Bingo Fundraiser
The Craine House staff and board hosted a “Treasure Hunt” themed bingo fundraiser on May 9 at the Knights of Columbus banquet center in Indianapolis. We welcomed nearly 300 participants to this great evening of fun and charity bingo.

In addition to bingo, there was a silent auction for many donated prize baskets; hidden wine pull; public auction for special gifts including Colts and Pacers memorabilia; vacation packages silent auction; 50/50 raffle and a raffle for special gifts.

With dinner and beverages included, the $35 ticket price was well worth the fun! A very special thanks goes to board member, Carol Wyatt, for organizing this successful and fun evening to benefit Craine House. The unofficial earnings from this fundraiser exceeded $28,000! This fundraiser will become an annual spring event, so if you missed this one, join us next year.
