Past Events: Community Informational Breakfast Craine House recently hosted an exciting informational breakfast fundraiser for the community on Thursday, November 13. The response was wonderful! More than 200 guests attended this event to learn more about Craine House and our vision – “to break the cycles of abuse, poverty and crime.” The speakers were outstanding and the unveiling of our new informational video was a huge success. Our sponsors helped to underwrite the event and all funds collected at the breakfast were donated to Craine House. A special thanks goes out to the Montage and Kahn’s Catering, Creative Street Media and Alpha Graphics for their support. As we celebrate the outpouring of interest from our community, we want to encourage you to plan for another informational breakfast in the fall of 2015. Bingo Fundraiser The Craine House staff and board hosted a “Treasure Hunt” themed bingo fundraiser on May 9 at the Knights of Columbus banquet center in Indianapolis. We welcomed nearly 300 participants to this great evening of fun and charity bingo. In addition to bingo, there was a silent auction for many donated prize baskets; hidden wine pull; public auction for special gifts including Colts and Pacers memorabilia; vacation packages silent auction; 50/50 raffle and a raffle for special gifts. With dinner and beverages included, the $35 ticket price was well worth the fun! A very special thanks goes to board member, Carol Wyatt, for organizing this successful and fun evening to benefit Craine House. The unofficial earnings from this fundraiser exceeded $28,000! This fundraiser will become an annual spring event, so if you missed this one, join us next year.
