PREA Policy

The Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA)  is a federal law passed in 2003 with the goal of reducing prison rape through a zero-tolerance policy, research, and information/data collection.

In compliance with PREA, it is the policy of Craine House to provide a safe and secure environment for all staff, volunteers, contractual staff, visitors, and residents and to maintain a program for the prevention of sexual abuse and sexual harassment.  Craine House is committed to zero tolerance for all forms of sexual abuse and sexual harassment for everyone associated with the facility, including staff, volunteers, contractors, and residents.

To make a report on behalf of a resident or request more information about PREA please contact Craine House's PREA Coordinator, Monica Price, at PREA@crainehouse.org or by calling the office at (317) 925-2833.
